//THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS//

I see a lot of messages on FB, ads on TV and Radio, and shows on TV that sell the easy way out…

Eat all the pizza and drink all the beer you want, never workout and you can lose all the fat…

Take these pills, and you can eat whatever you want…

Before and after photos showing HUGE weight loss and 6 pack abs in 3 months…

Usually if you pay attention to these, there are disclaimers from the legal department that says something like “results not normal” or something to the fact that you can buy our shit, but don’t expect to look like these people…you will lose weight, but most of that will be from your wallet having less money in it…

I have lost 95 pounds in the last year…I didn’t do any fad diets, take any diet pills, or have surgery…not that there is ANYTHING wrong with any of these things…but for me my goal was not to lose weight…well it was not JUST to lose weight.  My goal was better health…

Maybe there is a pill that will make you lose weight by eating pizza and drinking beer, but I know that is not what makes my body run at optimal performance…

After eating clean for the past 6+ months, I can tell very quickly when I go even a little off my diet.  My body tells me.

I have learned what my body desires for fuel and when I don’t listen to that and instead listen to my desires of junk food, I pay the price.  I get upset stomach, low energy, heart burn, and other issues…

People tell me all the time, WOW I would love to lose weight, I just can’t…I love to eat too much…

SO DO I!!  I freakin love food!  I love really good food…what I learned was I wasn’t really eating good food…I was eating SHIT…

I eat better now than I ever did before.  I eat a lot of high quality steak and fish, lots of really amazing vegetables, nuts, and NEVER do I leave the table hungry..

I can honestly say that I can sit in front of someone eating ice cream or cake and really not even desire to eat it.  I mean sure I get a craving occasionally.  Last night Kary and I went to a Mexican restaurant and I ate a bowl of chips..  And I lived…It isn’t the end of the world, but those days are very few for me.  I know now when my body craves carbs, it needs it, so I feed myself…the rest of the time I eat clean and stay away.

Everyone’s body responds do foods differently, and exercise the same.  You can’t take a cookie (poor word choice) cutter program that worked for one person and expect to get the EXACT same results.  You have to be willing to adjust, modify and pay attention to how your body responds.

If you want results in life, whether in health & fitness, or business, relationships, or anything…don’t try to cut corners.  Rarely will you get the results you desire.

Step up and determine what you want and if you truly do then do what it takes to get it.  Fight for it.

You didn’t get fat overnight…you aren’t going to get skinny overnight either!!
